Correct:
B
Explanation
Barren Island is located in the Andaman Sea and is part of the Indian Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is the only confirmed active volcano in South Asia and along the volcanic chain from Sumatra to Myanmar. Situated approximately 138 km northeast of Port Blair, the island saw its first recorded eruption in 1787. After being dormant for about 150 years, it erupted again in 1991 and has shown intermittent activity since then, including recent eruptions in 2017 and 2018. While Chile, Italy, and Iceland are famous for their volcanic landscapes, Barren Island specifically belongs to India.
