Who is authorized to carry a loaded weapon during flight?

According to the guidelines issued by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the Aircraft (Security) Rules, Sky Marshals are authorized to carry loaded firearms on board commercial aircraft. Sky Marshals are specially trained commandos from the National Security Guard (NSG) who are deployed on flights to prevent hijacking and ensure in-flight security. They typically use specialized weapons loaded with frangible bullets, which are designed to neutralize threats without piercing the aircraft's skin.
