On which storage device is track pattern spiral?

Storage devices organize data in different physical patterns. Optical disks, such as CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, utilize a single continuous spiral track that winds from the inner part of the disk to the outer edge. This spiral geometry is efficient for the laser pickup head to read long sequences of data, such as music or video, without interruption.

In contrast, magnetic disks (including Hard Disk Drives and Floppy disks) organize data into concentric circles known as tracks. Each track is a closed loop, and they are arranged one inside the other. Pendrives use flash memory (solid-state technology), which has no moving parts or physical tracks; data is stored in electronic cells within integrated circuit chips.
