Human Development Report for each year at global level is published by :
Explanation
The Human Development Report (HDR) is an annual global publication released by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) [2]. First launched in 1990 by economists Mahbub ul Haq and Amartya Sen, the report was designed to shift the focus of development economics from national income accounting to people-centered policies [3]. The HDR features the Human Development Index (HDI), which ranks countries based on three key dimensions: health (life expectancy), education (mean and expected years of schooling), and standard of living (per capita income) [2]. Since 2010, the report has expanded to include other composite indices such as the Inequality-adjusted HDI, the Gender Inequality Index (GII), and the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) [1]. While the World Bank publishes the World Development Report, the UNDP remains the sole publisher of the global Human Development Report [1].
