With reference to Delhi Sultanate, who was the founder fo Sayyid Dynasty ?
Explanation
The Sayyid dynasty (1414–1451) was the fourth ruling dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, established by Khizr Khan [1][t2]. Khizr Khan had previously served as the Governor of Multan under the Tughlaqs and was later appointed as a deputy by the Turkic conqueror Timur to oversee interests in the Punjab [c1][t1]. In 1414, he marched against Daulat Khan Lodi, seized Delhi, and founded the dynasty [t1][t6]. Although he ruled as the Sultan, he did not assume the royal title of 'Shah', instead ruling as a deputy of the Timurids [c2][t7]. The dynasty consisted of four rulers: Khizr Khan, Mubarak Shah, Muhammad Shah, and Alauddin Alam Shah [t1][t8]. The dynasty's history is notably recorded in the 'Tarikh-i-Mubarak Shahi' by Yahya bin Ahmad Sirhindi [c2][t9]. The rule ended in 1451 when Alam Shah abdicated in favor of Bahlul Lodi [c2][t1].
