What does Baudhayan theorem (Baudhayan Sulva Sutra) relate to?

The Baudhāyana Śulba Sūtra contains an early statement of what is now called the Pythagorean theorem: it describes that the square on the diagonal (hypotenuse) of a rectangle or right-angled triangle has area equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides, effectively relating the lengths of the sides of a right-angled triangle [1]. The Sulba Sūtras present such results in the practical context of altar construction, give Pythagorean triples, and discuss related geometric approximations (for example, for √2), underscoring that Baudhāyana’s work addresses side-length relationships in right triangles rather than topics like logarithms, normal distribution, or primarily the computation of π [2].
