Where are the Bermuda Islands located ?

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory located in the North Atlantic Ocean [2]. Geographically, it is an archipelago consisting of approximately 138 to 181 islands situated in the western North Atlantic. It is positioned about 1,035 km (643 miles) east-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USA. Although often associated with the Caribbean due to its coral reef systems and historical ties, Bermuda is actually located approximately 900 miles north of the Caribbean Sea. The islands are situated at roughly 32°N latitude and 64°W longitude [2]. Physically, Bermuda is described as a coral island group in the Atlantic, forming a pseudo-atoll on the platform of an extinct volcanic peak. It lies within the Sargasso Sea region of the North Atlantic Gyre [2].
