The True cost of convenience is often paid invisibly. Rapid advancement of internet technology etc has evolved the lines today we live in a borderless, a global village. With the help of internet we can connect to any part of the world. With the click of a finger we can pay for etc from a remote & rural areas. Internet & technology has made human lives convenient however there is a hidden cost which we pay without even being realised.

In this essay we will explore that Nothing comes free in life, we have to pay the price for everything although sometimes it might be visible while other time it might not. Internet of thing, technology, Robots etc has made human life more comfortable & easy. Today with the help of internet we can order the food through using platforms such as Zomato, Swiggy etc. with the help of internet we can get access to top educators in remote areas & can pursue our dreams, we can find our life partner (Tinder, Shaadi.com) and so on. But this convenience we pay the price everyday. rising cases of isolation, depression etc are caused by excess screen time. culture of reel making has led to catastrophic events & loss of precious human lives. rising cases of cyber crimes, warfare, digital addiction etc are also unintended consequences of internet. cyber bullying, online gaming etc does not affect only child's psychological health but also results in low academic interest. Gig workers who instantly deliver our food, grocery items etc are vulnerable to road accidents due to tight delivery time, lack social security (No pension or fixed salary etc.). they also don't have access to toilets, drinking water etc their lives has greatly transformed because of quick delivery culture.

All these things reflect that with convenience comes inconvenience & discomfort which we are not willing to tolerate but still we will have to do it in order to have convenience. This year we celebrated 75 years of India's independence. today India has emerged as largest growing economy (4th economy of the world), It is a leading country in digital media, UPI etc. UPI had transformed the lives of people through various government initiatives such as MGNREGA (2005), NFSA (2013), UJJWALA YOJNA etc socio-economic justice is delivered. Condition of women has greatly improved through schemes such as MGNREGA YOJNA, E DIDI etc women today has emerged the inspiration & role model for the future generation. However with this precious freedom we received very heavy & unforgettable price. Memories of partition still echo in our mind & scare the entire humanity. Violation of human rights was rampant during partition. most vulnerable group were women, children, & elder. Seed of partition has resulted in hostility between muslim & Hindu. Bitter relation between India & Pakistan are result of partition which has great challenges in internal security & sovereignty. Apart from partition, we also lost our great freedom fighters during India's freedom struggle. Their unwavering commitment and resolution for India's freedom is inspiring. Leaders such as Bhagat Singh, Maharani Laxmibai, Gangadhar Tilak etc laid down their lives for India's freedom. Bhagat si Balgangadha Tilak's famous slogan that Swarajya is my Birth Right & I shall have it remind us that for our freedom fighters freedom was absolute & non-negotiable. Today we should cherish the contribution of freedom fighters who relentless inconvenience so that our lives can be convenient.

All the successful people of the world have paid the price for it. Success is not overnight thing, it takes time. What we notice is success of a person. Without acknowledging the choice that person had made. For example- Before discovering the electric bulbs Thomas Albert Edison failed 1000 times but his right attitude & approach does not let his failure define him & eventually succeeded in his mission. This reflects that he faced numerous failures, perseverance in order to succeed. Similarly, India beat in 2024 became the first country to land city rover on south pole of moon under Chandrayaan mission 3 however before this successful Chandrayaan mission 3 how our scientist have failed during chandrayan mission 2 this again reflects that behind every success there is event of failure. what we do After success that Degradation Environmental degradation global warming, extreme environmental events such as heat wave, cold wave, glaciers melting, rising ocean temperature etc are result of our contaminant & luxurious life. rapid urbanisation, unplanned & hazardous industrialisation has resulted in deforestation & put immense pressure on the limited resources of earth. Pl don't think anything else Use of ACs & Air conditioner has made our lives very comfortable however at the same time it has also lead to release of toxic gas such as chloro-fluro carbon (CFC) in our environment, which is great to ozone layer which protects us from the ultraviolet rays of sun.

Our changed lifestyle has resulted in catastrophic events. air conditioner mining activities, use of coal, petroleum etc have made our lives comfortable but for this we are going to pay heavy price and we are already paying however without being realised. gandhi ji rightly said that this earth has enough for everyone's need but even 9 earth won't be sufficient to fulfill human greed, because there is no end of greed. Direct Benefit transfers freebies schemes during time of election relieve people from suffering but at the same time results in fiscal burden which is not a good indication of growing economy. Freebies schemes may have made the lives of people convenient but at the same time we must not forget that for this directly or indirectly we are going to pay the price.

However not all the time we are going to pay the price for our convenience. For example if a person has inherited immense wealth from his ancestors then for this wealth his ancestors paid the price for him. Similarly to avoid paying the price for use of internet & technology if we are smart enough to not get trap or manipulated by scammers. Through adoption of sustainable practices, switching towards green & clean source of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, nuclear plantation etc we can prevent further degradation of environment. Need of the hour is cooperation & coordination among all stakeholders to address all these emerging crisis such as climate change, cyber crimes, terrorism etc to prevent further inconvenience.
