FairScore Breakdown
Introduction
The future punishes those who prepare only for the present. "Don't take tension of future or Don't regret over past, Just live in the present and enjoy the moment because life is short" - is often heard by us. Well, it is true but, partly as to live life is not easy as a cup of tea. It involves some challenges, problems & tensions also. So to overcome these events "future preparedness" is also significant and relevant while enjoying the moments.

Consequences of Lack of Preparedness
As in the case of a farmer who lived in village that received fluctuating rainfall pattern over a decade. Once it received plentiful rain for many years and the farmer had good yield and a profitable harvest. The farmer was very joyous. An old man advised him to save/store the grains for future but he didn't pay heed to it thinking the rain is permanent and it will come again next year. But due to El-nino effect, there was very little or no rain. This leads to dry-up of fields and results into crop failure. The farmer became very sad and regretting over "no preparedness". So in this we saw that he was punished by future as he only prepared for present. Similarly, in the case of Nepal's flashflood - many lives get affected badly on not being aware of future. If there was regular monitoring by satellites or other technologies of the certain sensitive areas then this 'disastrous' glacial lake outburst flooding can be prevented or prepared.

Preparedness in Governance and Defense
These should be future preparedness like - warning system, regular checking or diverting these glacier water to other side. Here the nature punishes humans so badly that money and man both gets destroyed. A similar case was seen recently in news - "The collapse of 6-storey building which takes away 7 and more students live in Delhi". Why this happened? was it natural? Do nobody knows about the dilapidated building? - Well, everyone knows about everything but no-one cares and thinks - "What will happen, it will be seen at that time". Only 4-storey building was is allowed to be constructed, and the rooms there so small that one can't spread full arms. The owner charges a very high rent from the students. Does authorities don't know about this? The answer is known to authorities themselves. But the no-one was prepared for the future, everyone was in a race to make profit only. It was not a natural event but artificial one which was created due to lack of preparedness and consciousness of the authorities, owner and society itself. However, the governance is not always unprepared or ill-prepared. India is preparing to strengthen its defense system. Recently, India has imported - Sukhoi 30MKI, S-400 Triumphi air defense system from Russia; P-8I fight jet aircraft from France and high-endurance long range drones from America.

Technological Preparedness and Challenges
So it is better to be prepared for future rather than only enjoying present. In a same way, India should also have to be prepared for the energy crisis. The global chain is disrupted by the on going West-Asian conflict. India should have diversify its imports of energy fuels - oil, fertilizers, and many more. Now it faces the problem of high-prices, inflation and unrest in peoples. It was only dependent on west-asian countries for oil needs as a result of which it faces difficulty in meeting its oil demands. Likewise, there was a far-sighted person born on the soil of Bharat who leads to the development and advancement of India's Nuclear defense system. He was the 14th President of India - "Dr APJ Abdul Kalam." He contributed significantly in developing missiles for our country. He prepared India for future wars which leads to the robustness of Indian defense system. For his significant contributions future people honoured him as "the missile man of India". In a same way, we should also have to be prepared for the emerging technologies - AI - i.e. Artificial Intelligence. Undoubtedly it is of great use. From making a pin its pinnacle. AI can help us in nearly all things and in future it will make our life so easy that we don't have to move an inch in doing any work. But, is it always beneficial? - well, not always. It creates more chances of digital scam, malware and digital frauds. And it will affect people's life adversely. With increasing use of AI, there is increasing its misuse also.

Conclusion
So, the Governance has to be prepared before any negative consequence. It should place certain restriction on such apps to maintain the law and order of the country. As it is said also it is better to prepare than predict the future. In the fast-growing world, critical minerals will be of utmost important. These are used in producing energy. So, India should search for more options and develop its own technologies to process its indegenously found plutonium and "Thorium". It should diversify its global chain to import critical minerals like "uranium". In South African countries investment can be made on high level which will surely give high-returns for India where the mighour-China has already initiated the process. To achieve our goal of "making India world leader", it is pre-requisite for India to make investment in energy sector, critical minerals and innovation. However, by the successful launching and landing of "Chandrayaan-3" marks a significant contribution of to the "image of India" in the world. Our preparedness in the space sector is also important. But it is disheartening to see that India contributes only 0.05% of GDP in space sector. While the developed economies of world like US and China contributes 0.29% and 0.12% of their GDP to their space sector. The space sector is also an emerging sector which leads to the development of a country for surely. In an equivalent manner, our pre-historic rules knows the significance of "preparedness" before it's too late. Our Indian monsoon was very weak in Western-Rajasthan, Gujarat and many areas. Therefore, Rulers like - Ashoka, Chandragupt maurya, chola kings, Shah jahan, Allauddin Khilji, Akbar, parmar dynasty rulers built water harvesting structures in different regions. Therefore, these structures helped in water conservation in rain-deficit areas. Likewise, during agriculture crisis in "Lal-Bhadur Shastri's" period - He tackled the challenge in an appreciable manner. First he appealed the citizens to go on fast once in a week. He imported the food grains from US and strengthened the agriculture produce of Indian farmers by introducing - HYV seeds and schemes. From food-deficit to food-exporter, Indian agriculture pattern was thus transformed. In this, we see that preparedness is necessary for unpredictable future. Similarly, if we take example of a "Students life" we can examine that how preparing for future challenges is requisite? At the pinnacle of power i.e. at young age, a person is full of energy and enthusiasm. If this energy is rightly used and directed then it can be profitable for the person in future. And by putting efforts toward his/her goal, he/she can secure his/her future because efforts never go waste and gives high-returns no doubtly. But that age is most disturbing also. As the person is novice in this phase of life, then there can be more chances of tracking-off also. If he is at only enjoying his youth age not working hard then the future will surely punish him for not being prepared or only prepared for future by not getting him a stable career and peaceful life. Therefore one who prepares for future while enjoying present always receives the best for his life and it is good for long-term also. Same as the manner in the man which every plant planted bears fruits and shade to us, the preparedness also brings the fruit of success. If today we sustainably use resources and nature then the coming generation will thank to ourself and will be grateful to us. If today we doesn't paid attention in conserving our mother Earth - its environment, resources and climate then the nature would punish us by global warming, flood, Tsunami, Earthquake, pollution, acid rain etc. Therefore, Prevention is better than cure before its too late. Its our responsibility to our environment and Earth by sustainably utilizing our nature's resources while meeting our demands.

The Art of First Impressions
Your introduction is your one chance to make the examiner want to read more. Think of it as a movie trailer: grab attention, make a promise, and create anticipation. Most students start with definitions - the essay equivalent of 'once upon a time.' Distinguished essays start with intrigue.
"The introduction attempts to address an important theme but lacks a compelling hook and clarity in its thesis and roadmap."
"The opening sentence presents an interesting notion about the future."
"The transition from the hook to the thesis is awkward, and the roadmap is entirely missing."
"Focus on crafting a strong hook, clearly stating your thesis, and providing a concise roadmap of the essay."
You Have:
- A hook is present.
You Need:
- A clear thesis statement Thesis
- A structured roadmap Roadmap
The Hook: Your First 10 Words
The hook is your opening punch. It should make the examiner's eyebrows rise, create a question in their mind, or present a tension that demands resolution. Definitions don't do this. Questions, paradoxes, and vivid scenarios do.
Most students start with 'X has been important since ancient times.' This is true but boring. Your hook should be surprising, not safe.
"The future punishes those who prepare only for the present."
1 Provocative Question
"What awaits us if we ignore the future while living solely in the present?"
Why it works: This question immediately prompts critical thinking and introspection from the reader.
2 Paradox Hook
"Living in the moment can lead to a future we are ill-prepared for."
Why it works: This presents a contradiction that intrigues the reader about the balance between present and future.
3 Scenario Hook
"Imagine a world where a lack of foresight leads to calamities—this is the reality for many today."
Why it works: This scenario invites the reader to envision possible negative outcomes, emphasizing urgency.
Ask a question that challenges assumptions or creates intellectual tension
In an age of [modern reality], why do [surprising behavior/belief] persist?
Present a contradiction that creates cognitive dissonance
[Concept] promises [X], yet delivers [opposite/unexpected].
Paint a vivid picture with unexpected actors or situations
A [unexpected person 1] does [X]. A [unexpected person 2] does [Y]. [Pattern/Insight].
Lead with a surprising number that demands explanation
[Surprising statistic]. Behind this number lies [deeper truth].
X has been important since ancient times. In today's world, X is very relevant.X is a topic of great significance.Since time immemorial, X has...X can be defined as...
"The first sentence tells the examiner who they're dealing with. A definition says 'average student.' A paradox says 'someone who thinks differently.' First impressions stick."
Foundation: Thesis + Roadmap
Your thesis is your promise to the reader - what you're going to prove. Your roadmap is the journey you'll take them on. Together, they set up your entire essay. A weak foundation means the examiner isn't sure where you're going.
Thesis without a position is just a topic sentence. Roadmap without anticipation is just a table of contents.
"to overcome these events 'future preparedness' is also significant and relevant while enjoying the moments."
1 Crisp Stand
"Failing to prepare for the future ultimately endangers not just our future, but undermines our present enjoyment."
Why it works: This articulates a clear stance that prompts discussion and debate.
2 Debatable Angle
"While living in the moment is widely advocated, it is often the neglect of future planning that leads to dire consequences."
Why it works: This acknowledges a common viewpoint while challenging it, creating a space for discussion.
3 Sophisticated Balance
"True fulfillment in life comes from achieving a balance between savoring the present and preparing for an uncertain future."
Why it works: This presents a nuanced viewpoint that recognizes complexity, balancing both sides effectively.
Crisp Stand
Clear, direct position with analytical edge
Debatable Angle
Acknowledge counter-view, then take position
Sophisticated Balance
Embrace complexity with a nuanced position
"Not present"
1 Natural Flow
"This essay will explore the dire consequences of neglecting future preparedness, assess governmental strategies, and analyze technological evolution's implications."
Why it works: This offers a logical progression of ideas and hooks the reader into wanting to know more.
2 Question-Based
"What will happen if we fail to prepare for future challenges, and how can governance and technology help?"
Why it works: This frames the subsequent sections as answers to pressing questions, enhancing reader engagement.
3 Thematic Preview
"Through examples of past failures, governance challenges, and technological disruptions, we will uncover the significance of future preparedness."
Why it works: This teases out the themes without giving everything away, piquing curiosity.
Natural Flow
Weave structure into narrative without listing
Question-Based
Frame structure as questions to be answered
Thematic Preview
Drop intriguing references without explaining
Thesis: "A clear thesis tells the examiner 'I'm going to argue something.' This creates anticipation and gives them a lens to evaluate your essay. No thesis = no argument = lower marks."
Roadmap: "A good roadmap tells the examiner 'this essay is organized and going somewhere interesting.' A list tells them 'this student is mechanical.' Anticipation beats information."
The Opening Polish

So to overcome these events 'future preparedness' is also significant and relevant while enjoying the moments.
What awaits us if we ignore the future while living solely in the present? "Don't worry about the future or regret the past; just live in the moment," is a common mantra. While it advocates for present enjoyment, navigating life is fraught with challenges and dilemmas. Thus, this essay argues that failing to prepare for the future jeopardizes not just our long-term success but also undermines our present happiness. We will explore the consequences of neglecting preparedness, assess governmental strategies for future planning, and analyze the implications of technological advancements.
