ExamRobot (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email (and profile details provided via Google login, if enabled).
• Usage data: pages/features used, clicks, device/browser info, approximate location (city/state) from IP.
• Learning data (if you use features): MCQ attempts, scores, bookmarks, notes, essay submissions and evaluations.
• Cookies/local storage: to keep you signed in and remember preferences.

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To run core features (practice, history, analytics, essay evaluation).
• To improve accuracy, quality, and performance (debugging, analytics).
• To communicate service updates (rare, important-only).

What we don’t do (v1 intent)

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.

Sharing

We may share limited data with:

• Service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery, error monitoring) only to operate the product.
• Legal requirements if required by law.

Data retention

We retain data as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deletion for backups, security, and auditing.

Your choices

• You can request export or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
• You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may break.
