The Saras Ajeevika Mela 2021 was organized by the Ministry of Rural Development at Noida Haat, Noida, from February 26 to March 14, 2021. It was inaugurated by the then Union Minister for Rural Development, Narendra Singh Tomar.

The mela is a flagship initiative under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). Its primary objective is to provide a platform for rural women Self Help Groups (SHGs) to showcase their skills, sell their products, and establish direct linkages with bulk buyers and urban consumers. The 2021 event featured participation from over 300 SHGs and craftsmen across 27 states, showcasing diverse products including handlooms, handicrafts, and organic food items, thereby promoting the vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
