Rabies is a fatal zoonotic viral disease caused by the Rabies virus, which primarily affects the central nervous system of mammals [2]. However, rabies is strictly a disease of warm-blooded animals (mammals). Crocodiles, being cold-blooded reptiles, are not susceptible to the rabies virus and cannot transmit the disease.
