Which one of the following States has more than two major ports?

India has 12 operational major ports managed by the Central Government. Tamil Nadu is the only state in India that hosts three major ports: Chennai Port, Kamarajar Port (Ennore), and V.O. Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin) [3]. Chennai is one of the oldest artificial harbours, while Ennore was developed as the first corporate port to relieve pressure on Chennai [3]. Tuticorin serves as a major container terminal in the south. In contrast, Maharashtra has two major ports: Mumbai Port and Jawaharlal Nehru Port (Nhava Sheva) [1]. West Bengal has the Kolkata-Haldia port complex, which is often treated as a single major riverine port system [1]. Odisha has only one major port, Paradip, located at the confluence of the Mahanadi river. Therefore, Tamil Nadu is the state with more than two major ports.
