Who among the following translated 300 volumes of Sanskrit books collected by Flroz Tuglaq during the campaign of Nagarkot?

Result
Your answer:  ·  Correct: A

Explanation

During his campaign against Nagarkot (Kangra) in 1360-61, Firoz Shah Tughlaq visited the Jwalamukhi temple. He collected approximately 1,300 Sanskrit manuscripts from the temple's library. He commissioned Azzuddin Khalid Khani (often referred to as Azizuddin Khan) to translate about 300 of these volumes into Persian. The most famous of these translations, which covered subjects like philosophy, astronomy, and divination, was titled Dalail-i-Firoz Shahi. This project demonstrates Firoz Shah's scholarly interest in Indian sciences. The other individuals listed—Mulla Abdul Baqi, Mirza Muhammad Ali, and Talib Amuli—were scholars or poets associated with the later Mughal period and were not involved in this 14th-century translation work.
