Which one among the following is responsible for the command, control and operational decisions of nuclear weapons in India ?

The Nuclear Command Authority (NCA) is the apex body responsible for command, control, and operational decisions regarding India’s nuclear weapons. Established in January 2003, the NCA consists of two components:

• Political Council: Chaired by the Prime Minister, it is the sole body authorized to order the use of nuclear weapons, consistent with India’s "No First Use" policy.
• Executive Council: Chaired by the National Security Adviser (NSA), it provides inputs for decision-making and executes directives issued by the Political Council.

The Strategic Forces Command (SFC), a tri-service command, manages and administers the nuclear stockpile under the NCA's direction. While the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) oversees general national security and defense procurement, the specific operational mandate for nuclear assets lies with the NCA.
