Where was the first Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI) in CISF established ?

The first Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was established in Deoli, Rajasthan, in 1987. The CISF Fire Wing was created to provide specialized fire protection to sensitive industrial undertakings and critical infrastructure across India. In 1999, the institute was shifted from Deoli to the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hyderabad to integrate it with the premier training wing of the force. While Hyderabad is its current location, Deoli remains the place where it was originally founded. The FSTI is responsible for training personnel in modern fire-fighting techniques, fire prevention, and disaster management.
