Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is set up under the NITI Aayog, which is the premier policy think tank of the Government of India. AIM is a flagship initiative to promote innovation and entrepreneurship across the length and breadth of the country, with a special focus on fostering innovation among young students. It aims to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in India by supporting and nurturing startups and innovative enterprises. The mission has several programs and initiatives to support startups and innovators, such as Atal Tinkering Labs, Atal Incubation Centers, Atal New India Challenges, and Atal Community Innovation Centers. AIM is aimed at transforming India into a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship and creating a sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous society.
