Amir Khusrau, the famous poet, was a contemporary of Alauddin Khilji, Ghiyasuddin Balban, and Jalaluddin Khilji. However, he was not a contemporary of Iltutmish. Iltutmish was the third ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, who reigned from 1210 to 1236. Amir Khusrau, on the other hand, was born in 1253, during the reign of Iltutmish`s son, Ruknuddin Firuz. Therefore, it is incorrect to say that Amir Khusrau was contemporary with Iltutmish.
