Shah Nawaz Khan, Prem Kumar Sehgal, and Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon are remembered as officers of the Indian National Army, which was founded by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in 1942. They were part of the INA`s trials in the Red Fort in Delhi, which became a significant event in India`s struggle for independence. The three were accused of waging war against the British Crown and were sentenced to transportation for life. However, they were later released following public outcry and the Indian independence movement`s pressure.
