Under the Indian Constitution, concentration of wealth violates the Directive Principles of State Policy. The Constitution of India directs the state to secure the health and strength of workers, and that the economic system should not result in concentration of wealth and means of production in a few hands. This directive principle can be found in Article 39 (b) and (c) of the Constitution.
