Option A is not correct. Functional chromosomes cannot be created by joining segments of DNA taken from cells of different species. While some genetic engineering techniques can be used to create artificial DNA sequences, creating a functional chromosome would require a high level of organization and regulation of multiple genes and their expression. Currently, such technology is not available.
