Which of the following statements are correct regarding the general difference between plant and animal cells ?
1. Plant cells have cellulose cell walls whilst animal cells do not.
2. Plant cells do not have plasma membrane unlike animal cells which do.

{'plant cells': [1, 0, 1, 3], 'animal cells': [0, 0, 0, 2], 'animal cell': [2, 0, 0, 5], 'mature plant cell': [0, 0, 0, 1], 'cellulose cell walls': [0, 0, 0, 1], 'many small vacuoles': [0, 0, 0, 1], 'general difference': [0, 0, 0, 1], 'plasma membrane': [2, 0, 0, 0], 'plant': [1, 0, 0, 2]}

The first statement is correct as plant cells do have cellulose cell walls whereas animal cells do not. This structure provides protection and support to the plant cells.

In the second statement, it`s stated that plant cells do not have plasma membranes, which is incorrect. Both plant and animal cells do have plasma membranes, it is an important part of a cell, because it helps to control the substances that enter and leave the cell.

The third statement is also accurate. Mature plant cells typically contain one large central vacuole, which is responsible for maintaining turgor pressure within the cell. On the contrary, animal cells contain small, temporary vacuoles for storage and transportation.

Therefore, option 3 which includes the statements 1 and 3 only is the correct answer. There is a mistake in the second statement.
