In 2023, two properties were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List: Shantiniketan and the Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas. Rani-ki-Vav was added in 2014, and the Mahabodhi Temple Complex at Bodhgaya was added in 2002. Therefore, only two of the listed properties were included in the 2023 list.
