The equator passes through Lake Tanganyika, as it is located near the equator in Africa. However, the equator does not pass through Lake Tonlé Sap, which is located in Cambodia, nor does it pass through Patos Lagoon, which is situated in southern Brazil. Therefore, only one of the listed water bodies, Lake Tanganyika, is crossed by the equator.
